Working On The Customers Commission
DBK Custom Swords, LLC will take precautions to prevent any damage that may occur during the customization process of the customers commission. In the event damage occurs during the handling of the customers commission, we will determine at our own discretion, if such damage warrants any sort of compensation to the customer. Scratches, scuffing, and/or marks that can occur during the handling of the customers commission will be attempted to be avoided, but in the event that scratches, scuffing, and/or marks occur, DBK Custom Swords, LLC will not be held liable for such, though we take every precaution necessary to avoid such, it is a happenstance. Manufacturer defects on the product(s) will not be DBK Custom Swords, LLC liability, though we take steps to check the quality of the product(s) before beginning any work on the commission.

Shipping
DBK Custom Swords, LLC will not be held liable for any shipping damages that may occur. Shipping to DBK Custom Swords, LLC is the customers responsibility to insure, and send at the customers own risk. When DBK Custom Swords, LLC ships to the customer, the customer must request insured shipping to receive insured shipping, and the customer must pay the extra charges necessary to cover the cost of insured shipping. Occasionally shipping damages do occur, and as such DBK Custom Swords, LLC cannot be held liable for any damages that may occur during the shipping process. In the event DBK Custom Swords, LLC ships internationally or overseas, DBK Custom Swords, LLC will not be held liable whatsoever in the event a country's customs incurs a delay, or hold's said shipment indefinitely.

DBK Custom Swords, LLC, its employees, associated companies, assumes no responsibility for injury, damage or loss incurred by use of any merchandise sold on this site. Compliance to local, state and federal laws and/or statutes is the responsibility of the purchaser. Weapons, replica or live steel, will not be sold to individuals under the age of 18 without permission or consent of a parent or guardian. Purchase of merchandise from DBK Custom Swords, LLC implies agreement to the above statements by purchaser. DBK Custom Swords, LLC will not be held liable for the misuse of any product purchased from us. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless either the company, it's owners, investors, board members, and staff against any and all claims, demands, actions, or proceedings, resulting in injury, death or damages, losses, and/or liabilities, costs and expenses, including attorney fees, relating to or arising out of any claim asserted by you against the aforementioned companies.

Non-refundable deposit
In order to reserve your position in our queue, we require a non-refundable $50 deposit. This deposit is a show of good faith on behalf of the customer, creates a more stable queue, and allows DBK Custom Swords, LLC the ability to pre-order any hardware for the individual order. In the event the customer is a no-show, or cancel's their order, the deposit is forfeit on behalf of the customer and considered payment to DBK Custom Swords, LLC as a inconvenience fee.

Pricing & Quotes
DBK Custom Scabbards will pre-quote as accurately as possible a custom order. In some rare cases, a commission may take more time and or materials than estimated. In this event, an adjustment may need to be made in order to compensate. In most cases, notification will be made to the customer during the process.

Sword-less scabbard orders
DBK Custom Scabbards are built using the sword models we have on hand to fit that very sword. Our process requires a sword in order to shape the wood core to the blade, and other physical variances such as the shape of the guard that require a physical example on hand in order to build the scabbard to a proper fit. It must be noted that these scabbards are built 'loose fitting' compared to our normal scabbards. We do not guarantee the fit on these scabbards as there is no way to be sure the manufacturer didn't change some physical aspect causing a drastic enough variance to eliminate any chance of the scabbard fitting both swords. Furthermore any requests made by the customer to attempt a 'proper' or 'normal' fit is done at the customers own risk. In any event, DBK Custom Swords, LLC will not refund your money in the event your sword does not fit.
