Sword-less Scabbard Orders** We have on hand a select number of sword models we can use to make your
custom handmade scabbard. This eliminates the need to ship a sword to us, with only needing to ship the scabbard to you
upon completion, and saving you some money on shipping in the process. All the while you get the same great looking scabbard we always make. This is especially beneficial for international orders as it makes shipping only one-way, and
there will be less likely any problem(s) and/or a delay through customs. These
scabbards are made with a 'semi-loose' fit to assure of your blade fitting, as
variances in blade thickness can (from minor to drastic) affect a proper fit.
Sword-less scabbards are
made the same way as our
handmade scabbards,
only we use
our own sword as the model. This saves you the shipping expense of shipping your
own sword to us, and provides the peace of mind knowing your sword doesn't
get exposed to the potential hazard's of shipping.

guarantee a perfect fit, as humidity, climate and other such unforeseen
circumstances can affect the fit. Every attempt will be made however for the
best fit possible be it sword-less or not, but DBK will not be held liable if
the fit does not meet the customer's expectation's.)
**Sword-less scabbard orders; DBK Custom Scabbards are built using the sword models we have on hand to fit that very sword. Our process requires a sword in order to shape the wood core to the blade, and other physical variances such as the shape of the guard that require a physical example on hand in order to build the scabbard to a proper fit. It must be noted that these scabbards are built 'loose fitting' compared to our normal scabbards. We do not guarantee the fit on these scabbards as there is no way to be sure the manufacturer didn't change some physical aspect causing a drastic enough variance to eliminate any chance of the scabbard fitting both swords. Furthermore any requests made by the customer to attempt a 'proper' or 'normal' fit is done at the customer's own risk of their own sword not fitting
properly or at all. In any event DBK Custom Swords will not refund your money in the event your sword does not fit
properly, or at all.
